Server ECC RDIMM upgrade

This OWC kit provides 128 GB of DDR4 ECC Registered memory in a matched pair of 64 GB modules. It is built for workstations and servers that require error-correcting registered DIMMs and will not operate in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered memory.

128 GB dual-channel capacity

Two 64 GB sticks run at DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) with CL22 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation, giving ample headroom for virtualisation, large databases and multi-application workloads. The registered buffer adds a small command-cycle overhead that limits peak bandwidth compared with unbuffered equivalents.

Low-voltage thermal profile

Modules operate at 1.2 V without heat spreaders, relying on chassis airflow for cooling. Power draw stays modest under typical server loads, and the absence of tall heatsinks avoids clearance issues in dense 288-pin DIMM slots.
