Target systems

This kit is built for Cisco UCS B200 M3, B22 M3, B420 M3, C22 M3 and C220 M3 servers. It delivers 128 GB across four 32 GB DDR3L ECC Load-Reduced DIMMs running at 1600 MT/s with CL11 latency. The modules operate at 1.35 V and use a 240-pin 4Rx4 layout. They are not compatible with standard desktop computers or with unbuffered or registered ECC memory.

Build integration

Each module fits a 240-pin DDR3L slot and requires a platform that supports Load-Reduced ECC memory. The kit replaces Cisco part numbers UCSML1X324RYA, UCS-ML-1X324RZ-A and UCSML2X324RYE. Because Load-Reduced DIMMs cannot be mixed with unbuffered or registered ECC types, all slots in a channel should use matching modules. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the server chassis handles cooling.

Capacity and headroom

The 128 GB total capacity suits virtualization hosts, database nodes and compute-heavy workloads that benefit from large memory footprints. ECC and Load-Reduced architecture maintain data integrity and signal stability at this density. Workloads that exceed 128 GB or require a different memory generation will need a platform change.
