This OWC kit provides 64GB of registered ECC memory in a dual-channel pair of 32GB modules. It is built for workstations and servers that require DDR3 1333 registered DIMMs with error correction. Standard desktop computers cannot use this memory type.

Installation Constraints

Modules install into 240-pin DDR3 slots like any DIMM, but the system must support registered ECC memory and 4Rx4 organisation. Mixing these sticks with unbuffered or non-ECC DIMMs will prevent the system from booting. All populated slots should use identical capacity, speed and rank configuration.
