Server ECC RDIMM kit

This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 modules built to the PC3L-12800 standard. Each stick is a 240-pin registered DIMM with ECC and a 1Rx4 organisation, running at 1.35 V. It is engineered for workstation and server boards that require registered ECC memory. ||

Supermicro X9 series compatibility

The modules are validated for Supermicro X9DAL, X9DAX, X9DB3, X9DBi and X9DBL motherboards and replace Supermicro part numbers MEMDR380LHL07ER16, MEMDR380LSL10ER16, MEMDR380LSL14ER16 and MEMDR380LSV04ER16. Desktop boards that accept only unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs cannot use this kit, and the registered design prevents mixing with unbuffered memory in the same system. ||

Registered ECC requirement

The single specification that decides fit is the registered ECC RDIMM design; only platforms that explicitly support registered ECC DDR3L at 1.35 V will POST with these modules.
