Server memory upgrade

This OWC kit supplies 32GB of DDR5 4800 ECC registered memory in two 16GB modules. It is built for Dell PowerEdge R760xa, R860 and R960 servers that require registered DIMMs with error correction. The modules run at 1.1V with a CL40 latency and a single-rank 1Rx8 organisation.

Replaces unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs

The upgrade is intended for systems that currently use registered ECC memory and need additional capacity or a speed step to DDR5 4800. It will not work in platforms that only accept unbuffered or load-reduced modules, so the jump is only worthwhile when the server’s memory controller and BIOS support registered DDR5 at this speed.
