This 64GB DDR4-2666 Load Reduced DIMM targets Intel S9248WK2HLC server platforms needing maximum memory density per channel. The 288-pin module operates at 1.20V with ECC and a CL19 latency. It suits virtualization hosts, in-memory databases and HPC clusters where standard registered DIMMs hit rank limits.
Load Reduced architecture buffers the data and command signals, lowering the electrical load on the memory bus so more modules can populate each channel without signal degradation. This maintains bandwidth under continuous heavy workloads such as large-scale virtualization or big-data analytics where all channels run fully populated for long periods.
