Capacity and headroom

The adapter passes through the full performance of the installed M.2 NVMe drive without adding latency or bandwidth limits of its own. Maximum output current is rated at 3.3 volts and 5 amps, which accommodates most consumer and client SSDs. Short-circuit and thermal-shutdown protection circuits guard the drive and host against fault conditions.
