The Synology RS2423+ arrives fully assembled with 12 Synology Plus Series drives providing 72 TB of raw storage and a 1.6 TB read-write cache on a Synology M2D20 adapter. Sixteen gigabytes of Synology memory and an AMD Ryzen processor power file services, virtualization and backup workloads for small and medium businesses. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow direct attachment of external drives or a UPS.

Dual 1GbE plus 10GbE networking

Two 1 GbE RJ-45 ports support link aggregation and failover while a single 10 GbE port handles high-throughput transfers. The unit operates from 0 °C to 35 °C at 5–95 % relative humidity on 100–240 VAC power. Its 2 U rackmount chassis measures 88 mm high, 482 mm wide and 552 mm deep, weighing 11.5 kg without drives.

Sustained 3 500 MB/s sequential read
