The Thermaltake CL-P073-AL12BL-A is a 114 mm tall top-flow air cooler rated for 140 W TDP. It fits Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155 and 1156 sockets plus AMD AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2 and FM1 platforms. The asymmetric fin stack and four direct-touch copper heat pipes target builders who need low-profile cooling with motherboard component airflow.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Four 6 mm heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU base to move heat into the aluminium fin array continuously. The 120 mm PWM fan spins between 500 and 2000 RPM, delivering 58.35 CFM at a maximum noise level of 23.6 dBA. Top-flow orientation pushes air down through the fins, helping to cool voltage regulators and memory modules during extended workloads.

Compatibility Checks

Verify that your case allows at least 159.5 mm of cooler clearance for the 114 mm heatsink height. The fan frame measures 25 mm thick by 120 mm square, so confirm no tall memory modules or VRM heatsinks sit in the airflow path.
