PCIe 3.0 x4 bandwidth ceiling

The PCIe 3.0 x4 link caps sustained throughput at roughly 8 Gb/s per lane, so sequential transfers top out at the rated 2000 MB/s read and 1600 MB/s write. Performance will not exceed these figures even if the host platform supports newer PCIe generations, because the drive controller is limited to Gen 3 signalling.

600 TBW per drive and SLC cache headroom
