Check your M.2 slot and operating system

Verify that your motherboard or laptop has an M.2 2280 slot that supports NVMe PCIe Gen4x4 signalling. The drive is backwards compatible with PCIe Gen3, Gen2 and Gen1 but will run at the slower generation speed. Supported operating systems include Windows 7 through Windows 11 and Linux kernel 2.6.33 or later.
