The Vertiv PSI5-1000RM1201U is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1000 VA and 900 W. It occupies a single 1U rack space while delivering pure sine wave output on battery. The unit suits servers, routers, storage arrays and VoIP gear in tight rack environments.

Replaces bulkier 2U units when rack space is scarce

Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects input fluctuations between 75 and 146 VAC without using battery capacity. The 0.9 power factor provides more usable wattage for connected loads than lower-factor designs. Upgrade when existing UPS hardware cannot fit a 1U slot or lacks programmable outlet control.

Runtime drops sharply as load approaches 900 W

At full 900 W the battery lasts five minutes; at 450 W it extends to 13 minutes. Output voltage is user-configurable to 100, 110, 115, 120 or 125 VAC. Remote monitoring requires an optional communication card inserted into the IntelliSlot port.
