7-inch Capacitive Touch Development Board
This LORDWORLD display board provides a 1024×600 IPS panel with a capacitive touch layer for Raspberry Pi projects. It connects through the DSI interface and supports Pi 4B, 3B+, 3A+, CM3+ and CM4 when an extra adapter board is used. Driver installation is required on Raspbian.
Sustained Operation Behaviour
Brightness is adjustable via software so the panel can be dimmed for long-running kiosk or dashboard use without generating excess heat. The five-point touch capability remains responsive during continuous interaction, limited only by the operating system's touch stack. No active cooling is integrated on the board itself.
DSI Interface and Adapter Requirement
The single deciding specification is the DSI connector combined with the mandatory adapter board for Compute Module 3+ and 4 variants. Builds that rely on HDMI or lack the adapter cannot use this display, while standard Pi 4B, 3B+ and 3A+ models connect directly.

Perguntas sobre este artigo
How much power does the 7 inch 1024×600 display draw when running all day on a Raspberry Pi?
The display connects through the Pi's DSI interface and draws power directly from the board; no separate supply is needed, so total consumption stays within the Pi's normal USB-C budget.
What extra hardware is required before the 7 inch 1024×600 touch screen will work?
You need a Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+ or 3A+ with a DSI ribbon cable; for Compute Module 3+ or 4 an additional adapter board is also required.
Will the 7 inch 1024×600 display work with an original Raspberry Pi 1 or Pi 2 that I still own?
No — the board only supports Pi 4B, 3B+, 3A+ and Compute Module 3+/4, so older Pi 1 or Pi 2 models cannot drive the DSI interface.
