This 16 GB DDR3 kit contains four 4 GB unbuffered ECC modules built for compatible servers and workstations. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation runs at 1600 MHz with CL11 latency at the standard 1.5 V. It is not suitable for desktop or laptop platforms.
Operating at the JEDEC 1.5 V level keeps power draw modest and heat output low in normal server workloads. Passive cooling from chassis airflow is sufficient for typical operation. No active cooling or additional voltage is required.
Under continuous heavy utilisation the modules maintain rated 1600 MHz speed and CL11 timing without throttling. ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors throughout extended sessions to preserve data integrity in critical applications.
