This 32GB kit contains two 16GB DDR4 2933 ECC registered DIMMs built for servers and workstations. Each module runs at 1.2V with CL21 latency and a single-rank x4 organisation. The 288-pin form factor fits DDR4 RDIMM slots only and is not compatible with desktop or laptop platforms.
Registered ECC modules operate at the standard 1.2V DDR4 voltage, keeping power draw low in typical server workloads. Passive cooling via system airflow is sufficient; no active fan or additional heatsink is required on the modules themselves. Acoustic impact is negligible inside a properly ventilated chassis.
This kit replaces lower-capacity or non-ECC DDR4 RDIMMs in dual-channel server boards that support 2933 MHz registered memory. The jump is worth it when workloads demand larger error-corrected memory pools for virtualisation, databases or compute clusters. Systems limited to unbuffered DIMMs or non-ECC operation cannot use these modules.

Power down, open the chassis, align each module's notch with the 288-pin DDR4 slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then populate identical channels per the motherboard manual — mixing ranks across channels is the common error.
No scheduled maintenance is required; ECC corrects single-bit errors on the fly, so replacement only occurs if a module fails or a future platform demands a different DDR generation or higher speed than 2933 MT/s.
The JEDEC 2933 MT/s data rate and CL21 latency set the throughput ceiling; registered buffering adds one cycle, so memory bandwidth saturates before the 1.2 V supply or thermal envelope becomes a constraint.
