The Dogfish Technology mSATA-250GB is a 250 GB solid state drive in the mSATA form factor. It connects through a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface and uses 3D NAND flash with an SMI controller. The drive is built for consumer desktops and laptops that have an mSATA slot.

Suits mSATA slots only; not for M.2 or 2.5 inch bays

This drive fits systems with a dedicated mSATA connector measuring 30 by 50.9 millimetres. It will not work in M.2 keyed slots or standard 2.5 inch SATA bays. Buyers upgrading an older ultrabook or embedded board with mSATA support should verify the slot type before ordering.
