Dual Xeon Gold 6130 16-core server

The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is a 2U rack server built for enterprise workloads. It ships with two Xeon Gold 6130 processors, each running at 2.10 GHz with up to 3.70 GHz turbo. The system targets organisations running databases, virtualisation and heavy simultaneous applications.

256GB DDR4 and 30.72TB SSD capacity

Memory comes as eight 32GB DDR4 modules at 3200MHz, giving 256GB total for large memory footprints. Storage uses four 7.68TB 2.5-inch SATA III SSDs providing 30.72TB of raw capacity. Both memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before use.

SATA III and 10GbE interface limits

The P408i-a controller with Smart Storage Battery manages the SATA III 6Gb/s drives, so throughput is bounded by that interface. Network connectivity is a Broadcom BCM57416 dual-port 10Gb BASE-T OCP3 adapter. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies keep the server running during a module swap.
