The ICY DOCK MB994SP-4S fits four 2.5" SATA or SAS hard drives and solid-state drives into a single 5.25" front bay. Its full-metal chassis and included dual 40 mm fans provide structural rigidity and active cooling for sustained workloads. Each tray features an individual status LED for immediate drive-health visibility.

Suited for Multi-Drive Arrays Not Single-Drive

This unit targets builders who need four hot-swappable bays in one 5.25" slot such as media servers medical systems or all-in-one workstations. Buyers who only need to install one 2.5" drive or who lack a spare 5.25" bay should consider simpler bracket solutions. The tray height limit of 15 mm also excludes thicker enterprise drives.

Dual-Protocol SATA and SAS 6 Gbps Backplane
