This kit supplies 512 GB across four 128 GB DDR4 2400 MHz modules built to JEDEC PC4-19200 CL17 specifications. ECC registered operation detects and corrects single-bit errors for data integrity in servers, workstations and NAS systems. The 1.2 V modules fit standard 288-pin RDIMM slots. Desktop motherboards that require unbuffered memory cannot use this kit.
Registered buffers and on-die ECC add minimal latency while keeping each module at the standard 1.2 V DDR4 voltage. Passive operation relies on system airflow; no heat spreaders are fitted, so adequate case ventilation maintains stable temperatures under sustained loads. Power draw scales with the four-module population and remains within the DDR4 2400 MHz JEDEC envelope for registered DIMMs.
Each module uses a 4Rx4 organisation on a 288-pin green PCB without a heat spreader, exposing the DRAM for direct airflow contact. The four-stick kit fills four slots in a dual-channel topology, so the motherboard must provide at least four registered DIMM sockets. Mixing with unbuffered or non-ECC modules is not supported by the registered design.

Power down the server, open the chassis, and insert each 288-pin module into the slots specified by the motherboard manual for quad-channel population; the notch on each stick aligns with the key in the slot so it only seats one way. Press firmly until the retention clips click, then close the chassis and power on.
The modules themselves have no moving parts and require no scheduled maintenance; if a single 128 GB stick fails, replace only that module with another DDR4 2400 CL17 4Rx4 registered DIMM of the same voltage and capacity to keep ECC and rank matching intact.
The DDR4 2400 MT/s data rate and CL17 latency set the bandwidth ceiling; sustained workloads that exceed the memory controller's throughput or the platform's thermal envelope will throttle before the modules themselves reach a hard error limit.
