This OWC kit delivers 512GB of DDR4 ECC Load Reduced memory across eight 64GB modules. It is built for Cisco UCS B260 M4 E7 v4 and B460 M4 E7 v4 servers that require registered, error-correcting DIMMs. The 288-pin LRDIMM format will not fit standard desktop motherboards or workstations that accept only unbuffered or registered ECC memory.
The kit supplies a full complement of 64GB LRDIMMs, letting administrators reach the platform's maximum supported capacity in a single purchase. Each module operates at 1.2V with CL17 latency at 2400MT/s, and the 4Rx4 organisation reduces electrical load on the memory controller compared with standard registered DIMMs. No heat spreaders are included, so airflow in the chassis must handle thermal dissipation.
The memory runs at PC4-19200 speeds on compatible Cisco UCS platforms and will down-clock to 2133MT/s when installed in systems that only support the lower data rate. Mixing these Load Reduced modules with unbuffered or registered ECC DIMMs is not supported and will prevent the server from posting. Buyers needing a different capacity, rank configuration, or form factor must select a separate kit.

The 512 GB kit uses DDR4 2400 CL17 4Rx4 1.2 V LRDIMM modules designed for the Cisco UCS B260 M4 E7 v4 and B460 M4 E7 v4; a CPU generation change that requires a different memory generation or rank configuration would require new modules.
