Server memory upgrade

This OWC kit provides 64GB of DDR5 ECC registered RDIMM memory across four 16GB modules. It is built for Dell PowerEdge R760xa, R860 and R960 servers that require registered error-correcting memory. Workstations and standard desktop computers cannot use this module type.

Registered DDR5 limits

The modules operate at DDR5 4800 with CL40 latency and 1.1V voltage in a 288-pin form factor. Registered DIMMs add a buffer that reduces electrical load on the memory controller, so they cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced ECC memory in the same system. The 1Rx8 organisation is fixed for this kit.
