The partaker B5 is a fanless mini PC built around an Intel Core i5 7360U dual-core processor with four threads and a maximum turbo frequency of 3.6 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 2133 memory and a 512 GB M.2 2280 drive. Two Intel i225-V 2.5G LAN ports, dual video outputs and dual COM ports target industrial automation, digital signage and edge gateway roles.

Sustained thermal behaviour in a sealed aluminium

The all-aluminium case acts as a heatsink, allowing the CPU to run continuous multi-threaded workloads without active cooling. Operating temperature ranges reach 50 °C with an industrial SSD and 40 °C with a commercial hard drive. The watchdog timer provides 0 to 255 levels of hardware monitoring to recover from software stalls during unattended operation.

Practical limits of the integrated display

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 drives one HDMI and one DisplayPort output for dual independent screens. The single M.2 2280 slot accepts both SATA and NVME protocol drives, while a 2.5-inch bay adds a second volume for RAID 0 or 1 configurations. Expansion beyond these two internal drives requires external enclosures.
