This PrimoChill G 1/4in 30mm SX Extension Coupler adds 30mm of clearance between two G 1/4in threaded components. It is a new DIY cooling part made from coated brass for custom water-cooling loops.

Builders needing extra thread reach

The male-to-female design suits loops where a standard fitting sits too deep or blocks adjacent hardware. It will not help installations that require a different thread standard or a shorter overall stack height.

The coupler includes a pre-installed O-ring on the male G 1/4in. side that provides the primary seal, so additional thread tape or sealant is not required and no periodic re-taping is needed.

What clearance limit does the 30mm body impose in a tight loop?

The extender adds 30mm of length between fittings, or 35mm including the male thread, so the first limit you reach is the available straight-line space between the two components you are joining.

Does the coated brass retain more heat during continuous coolant flow?

The 30mm coated brass body has minimal thermal mass and simply conducts coolant at loop temperature; it does not generate heat and adds no measurable thermal load during all-day operation.
