1TB SATA M.2 2280 internal SSD

The Timetec 35TT2280SATA-1TB is a 1TB internal solid-state drive that uses the SATA III 6Gb/s interface in the M.2 2280 form factor. It is built with 3D NAND flash and an SLC cache to accelerate everyday workloads on compatible desktops and laptops.

Build integration with M.2 SATA slot

The drive fits a standard M.2 2280 slot wired for SATA, not PCIe, and works with Windows 7 through 11 plus Linux 2.6.33 or later. No cables, screws or brackets are included, so the host system must provide the mounting hardware. Backward compatibility with SATA II and SATA I lets it drop into older platforms without changes.

Sustained performance and endurance

Sequential reads reach 530 MB/s and writes reach 480 MB/s, while the manufacturer rates the SLC cache burst at 550 MB/s read and 500 MB/s write. Endurance is specified at 512 TBW and the MTBF is 1500000 hours. S.M.A.R.T., TRIM, garbage collection, wear-leveling, ECC and power-saving features operate continuously to maintain consistency during extended use.
