The TRENDnet TPE-TG240g is an unmanaged switch built for installers and integrators who need to power and connect up to twenty-four PoE devices over existing Ethernet cables. It delivers data and up to 30W per port from a total 370W power budget. A 48Gbps switching capacity handles the combined traffic. The 1U metal housing fits a standard 19-inch rack.

Rack Mount Kit and Internal Power Supply

The package includes rack-mount brackets so the unit can be secured in a cabinet immediately. An internal power supply accepts 110-240 V AC input without an external brick. A quick installation guide and power cord complete the bundle. Smart fans adjust airflow automatically to keep the chassis within its 0°C to 40°C operating range.

IEEE 802.3af/at Power Limits

Each port complies with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, capping per-port output at 30W. The 370W total budget means not every port can run at maximum simultaneously; deployments with many high-power devices must stay within the aggregate limit. Jumbo frames up to 10KB and an 8K MAC address table support larger packets and device counts, while 512KB of buffer memory absorbs bursts.
