8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch

The TRENDnet TPE-TG81g is an unmanaged network switch designed for small business or branch-office deployments. It combines eight Gigabit RJ45 ports with Power over Ethernet Plus so that access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones receive both data and power over a single cable. A fanless metal chassis allows silent operation in noise-sensitive environments.

110 W PoE+ Power Budget

The switch delivers up to 30 W per port while the total PoE budget is capped at 110 W. Auto-sensing IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af compliance means higher-power devices draw 30 W, standard PoE devices draw 15 W, and non-PoE gear receives data only. This budget dictates how many powered endpoints can run simultaneously.

Three Full-Power PoE+ Devices

With the 110 W budget the switch comfortably handles three 30 W PoE+ devices such as PTZ cameras or high-power wireless access points. Connecting a fourth 30 W device would exceed the limit, so deployments needing more simultaneous high-power ports require a switch with a larger budget. Lower-power 15 W devices can fill the remaining ports up to the same ceiling.
