This single 64GB module is built for Dell PowerEdge R430, R530, R630, R630 XL, R730, R730 XL, R730xd, R730xd XL, R830 and R930 rack servers. It targets administrators expanding memory capacity on 13th generation platforms that require ECC load-reduced DIMMs. The module will not work in desktops, laptops or any system limited to non-ECC unbuffered memory.

Capacity and headroom: 64GB quad-rank module

Each module delivers 64GB using a 4Rx4 organisation, allowing high-density population of available DIMM slots. The quad-rank design means the memory controller sees four logical ranks per module, so total rank limits per channel are reached with fewer modules installed. Mixing with registered ECC DIMMs is not supported; all populated slots must use matching load-reduced ECC types.

Build and connectors: 288-pin DDR4 LRDIMM at 1.2V

The 288-pin DDR4 form factor fits the standard server DIMM sockets on the listed platforms. Operating at 1.2V with CL15 latency, the module runs at DDR4-2133 (PC4-17000) speeds; if faster modules are present the system will downclock to the slowest installed speed. No heat spreader is fitted, relying on chassis airflow for cooling.

ECC Load Reduced and ECC Registered modules cannot be mixed. All installed modules must share the same ECC type, so this LRDIMM must not be paired with RDIMMs.

How can I verify the module is running at 2133 MHz CL15 after installation?

Enter the system BIOS or iDRAC interface; the memory configuration screen will show each module operating at 2133 MHz with CAS latency 15.

Does the package contain only the memory module or are any extra parts included?
