This 256GB kit contains eight 32GB DDR4-2133 ECC Load Reduced DIMMs built for Dell PowerEdge 13th generation rack servers. It targets administrators who need maximum registered capacity on platforms such as the R630, R730, R730xd, R830 and R930. The modules run at 1.2V with a CAS latency of 15.

Verify server model and memory rules

Confirm that the target system appears in the supported list: R430, R530, R630, R630 XL, R730, R730 XL, R730xd, R730xd XL, R830 or R930. The platform must accept 288-pin DDR4 LRDIMMs and cannot mix Load Reduced modules with Registered DIMMs. All populated slots must use matching ECC types and the system will clock to the slowest installed speed.

Sustained load behaviour with quad-rank density

Quad-rank 4Rx4 organisation places a heavier electrical load on the memory controller during continuous operation. The Load Reduced buffer reduces that strain, allowing the kit to maintain the rated 2133MHz throughput under prolonged workloads such as virtualisation or database caching. ECC correction runs continuously without halting the pipeline.
