This 128GB kit contains four 32GB DDR4 2400 ECC load-reduced DIMMs built for Dell PowerEdge R430, R530, R630, R630 XL, R730, R730 XL, R730xd, R730xd XL, R830 and R930 rack servers. It targets administrators who need maximum registered capacity on these 13th Gen platforms. The modules are not compatible with desktop or laptop systems that require non-ECC unbuffered memory.

Tool-free DIMM installation

Each 288-pin module seats in the standard DDR4 slots without tools, but the server manual dictates exact channel and slot order for quad-rank LRDIMMs. Mixing LRDIMMs with registered DIMMs is not supported; all installed modules must share the same ECC type. Speeds can be mixed, yet the system will clock down to the slowest module present.

Steady 1.20V operation under continuous load

The kit runs at 1.20V with CL17 latency, maintaining the rated 2400 MT/s throughput during sustained workloads such as virtualisation or database services. Load-reduced buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, helping stability when all channels are fully populated. No heat spreader is fitted, so adequate chassis airflow is required for prolonged operation.
