This kit provides two 4 GB unbuffered ECC SODIMM modules for laptops, microservers and NAS units that accept DDR3L 1600 memory. Dual-rank organisation and error-correcting code help maintain data integrity in workloads that cannot tolerate silent corruption. The 1.35 V JEDEC low-voltage rating also allows operation at 1.5 V where the platform requires it.
The 204-pin SO-DIMM form factor fits standard DDR3 SODIMM slots without adapters or height clearance issues. A matched pair enables dual-channel bandwidth on compatible controllers, and the absence of a heat spreader keeps the modules thin enough for tight mobile workstation chassis. Installation follows normal SODIMM seating procedure with no special tools required.
Running at 1.35 V reduces power draw and heat output compared with standard 1.5 V DDR3, helping small-form-factor systems stay within thermal limits during sustained loads. Unbuffered ECC adds minimal latency overhead while delivering single-bit error correction and multi-bit detection. The modules operate silently with no active cooling and draw only the power needed for the memory controller.
