The Dell PowerEdge R630 fits a single Xeon E5-2609 v3 six-core processor at 1.9 GHz with 32 GB of DDR4 memory in a 1U chassis. Dual 750 W redundant power supplies and an H330 RAID controller supporting RAID 0/1/5/10/50/60 are included. Ten 2.5-inch hot-plug drive bays provide internal storage capacity up to 14 TB per drive. The system ships without an operating system or drives.

Suits single-socket workloads with room to grow

This configuration targets environments that need a second processor slot and 24 DIMM positions for future expansion up to 1536 GB total memory.
