This duplex multimode patch cord uses an OM3 core rated for 10 Gb transmission at 850 nm. It suits switches, servers and data-centre gear that need short-range fibre connections. Builders running 1 Gb or 40 Gb over the same multimode infrastructure can also use it. It is not for single-mode links or runs that exceed OM3 distance limits.

ST connectors, 3.0 mm jacket

Ceramic ferrules on both ST ends give repeatable alignment over 1000 mating cycles. The 3.0 mm PVC sheath resists everyday rack handling and meets a 330 mm minimum bend radius. Aqua blue colour coding identifies OM3 multimode at a glance. Installers who need LC, SC or MPO interfaces must choose a different cable.

Low loss, wide temperature range
