Five-colour silk PLA bundle

This set supplies five 1 kilogram spools of 1.75 millimetre PLA filament in blue, orange, white, red and green. The silk formulation produces a high-gloss surface finish on printed parts. Total net weight across the pack is 5 kilograms. Each spool is vacuum sealed with desiccant to limit moisture absorption.

Dimensional control and spool geometry

The filament is held to a tolerance of +/- .03 millimetre, which reduces diameter variation during extrusion. Spools measure 7.88 inches in diameter, 2.69 inches wide and have a 2.20 inch hub hole, matching common printer mounts. The material is described as 100 percent new high-purity PLA derived mainly from corn starch.

Temperature window and printer fit

Recommended nozzle temperature ranges from 200 to 220 degrees Celsius (392 to 428 degrees Fahrenheit). Compatibility is listed for a range of popular desktop printers including MakerBot, RepRap, Afinia, UP, Mendel, Flashforge, Solidoodle 2, Printrbot LC and MakerGear M2. Printers outside this list or requiring different filament diameters are not supported.
