Heat-first workflow prevents mold damage

The instructions require heating the tubing before placing it into the chosen mold; the molds themselves must never be heated directly. Skipping the heating step or applying heat to the mold risks deformed tubing and damaged forms.

Cutter limited to softer tube materials

The supplied cutter handles common PETG and similar plastics but is explicitly not recommended for acrylic tubing because it may lack sufficient strength. Builders planning acrylic runs should source a heavier-duty cutter separately. The silicone insert slides inside the tube during bending to prevent collapse, and the grinder cleans cut ends for leak-free fitting seating.
