This 8GB DDR4 module is built for HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF, 400 G4 Tower, 600 G3 SFF and 600 G3 Tower systems. It delivers a straightforward capacity increase for office workstations that need more memory headroom. The unbuffered UDIMM design fits standard desktop DIMM slots without requiring registered memory support. Buyers with other platforms or laptop SODIMM slots cannot use this part.
Operating at 1.2V, the module runs at the standard DDR4 voltage for low power draw and minimal heat output. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the PCB handles cooling in typical chassis layouts. The CL17 latency at 2400MHz keeps timing overhead modest during sustained workloads. Noise is not a factor as the component has no moving parts.
The 288-pin DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 CL17 1.2V Non-ECC unbuffered 1Rx8 configuration determines fit and function. Systems must accept this exact speed, voltage, pin count and error-correction type. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz buses is supported. If your motherboard requires ECC, registered DIMMs, a different voltage or a different pin layout, this module will not work.
