The Solidigm D7-PS1030 fits a 7.5 mm E3.S bay and delivers 6.4 TB of 176L TLC 3D NAND. It targets data-centre workloads that need high capacity in a slim, hot-pluggable form factor. Security is handled by Opal encryption. The drive weighs 110 g.
The PCI-Express 5.0 x4 link caps sequential throughput at 14 500 MB/s read and 10 000 MB/s write. Random performance reaches 3 000 000 IOPS read and 800 000 IOPS write at 4 KB blocks. Active power draw is 23 W while idle drops to 5 W.
Rated at 3 DWPD the drive sustains 35 PBW over its lifetime. MTBF is 2 500 000 hours. Operating temperature spans 0 °C to 77 °C. Shock tolerance is 1 000 G at .5 ms. Vibration limits are 2.17 GRMS operating and 3.13 GRMS non-operating.

It is the peak throughput the controller can sustain on large, queue-deep reads; real-world throughput will be lower and depends on workload mix, queue depth and the host PCIe 5.0 link.
The x4 lane width limits the drive to the electrical bandwidth of a PCIe 5.0 x4 slot; performance cannot exceed that link even if the controller could go faster.
