The Solidigm D7-PS1030 is a 6.4TB enterprise solid-state drive built for data-centre servers. It uses 176L TLC 3D NAND and a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface to deliver high throughput for read-intensive workloads. The E3.S 7.5mm form factor fits dense 1U and 2U chassis designed for this standard.

E3.S 7.5mm Hot-Plug Form Factor

The 7.5mm E3.S design supports hot-plug installation in compatible backplanes, allowing drive replacement without system downtime. Weighing 110g, the drive connects directly through the edge connector with no separate power or data cables. This layout simplifies cabling and improves airflow in tightly packed server racks.
