The Solidigm D5-P5430 is a 7.68TB enterprise solid-state drive in a U.2 15mm form factor. It uses 192-layer QLC 3D NAND and connects through a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface. The drive is built for read-intensive data-centre workloads.

Under continuous operation the drive draws up to 18W and maintains an endurance rating of 0.57 drive writes per day, equivalent to 8.0 PBW. Random write performance reaches 100000 IOPS at queue depth 256 while sequential write tops out at 1730 MBps. MTBF is rated at 2000000 hours.
