Capacity and form factor

The Solidigm D5-P5430 delivers 7.68TB in the E3.S 7.5mm form factor, built for read-intensive server workloads. It uses 192-layer QLC 3D NAND behind a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface. Buyers needing higher write endurance or a different connector will need another model.

Thermals and power

Idle draw is 5W and active draw reaches 18W within a 0°C to +70°C operating range. The drive withstands 1,000 G shock at 0.5 msec and 2.17 GRMS vibration while running. No acoustic or thermal-throttle data is provided.

Build integration

The 90g module fits standard E3.S bays and supports Opal security. It offers up to 0.57 DWPD and 8.0 PBW endurance with a 2,000,000-hour MTBF. Systems without E3.S slots or with stricter write-endurance requirements cannot use this drive.
