The Solidigm D5-P5430 is a 30.72TB enterprise SSD built in the E3.S 7.5mm form factor. It connects through a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface and uses 192-layer QLC 3D NAND. The drive is designed for read-intensive workloads in data-centre and server environments.

Suits read-heavy arrays; not for write-heavy logs

This drive fits storage clusters, content repositories and warm-tier caches where sequential reads reach 7000 MBps and random reads hit 971000 IOPS. It is less suited for workloads that sustain heavy random writes, because the 0.56 DWPD endurance rating and 85000 IOPS random-write ceiling limit write-heavy logging or database commit volumes.
