The Solidigm D5-P5336 is a 122.88TB enterprise SSD built in the E1.L 9.5mm form factor. It connects through a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface and uses 192-layer QLC 3D NAND. The drive targets data-centre workloads that need very high density in a compact server slot.
The product ships as a bare drive with no mounting hardware, cables or management software included. Integration depends entirely on the server chassis and backplane that accept the E1.L 9.5mm standard. Power draw ranges from 5W idle to 30W active, so the host must supply adequate cooling and power budget.
Verify that your server supports the E1.L 9.5mm form factor and a PCIe 4.0 x4 electrical connection. The drive operates from 0°C to 70°C and tolerates 1,000 G shock at 0.5 msec. It carries no Opal encryption, so environments requiring hardware-based encryption must add a software layer.
