The Solidigm D5-P5336 delivers 15.36TB of storage in a U.2 15mm form factor with a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface. It is built for data-centre and server workloads that demand high density in a standard drive bay.

Build quality and connectors

The drive uses 192 L QLC 3D NAND and carries a 2,000,000-hour MTBF rating. It operates from 0°C to +70°C and withstands 1,000 G shock at .5 msec, plus 2.17 GRMS vibration during operation and 3.13 GRMS non-operating.

QLC endurance profile

QLC flash provides maximum capacity per cell but lower write endurance than TLC or SLC alternatives. Buyers who need sustained heavy write cycles or the lowest latency should evaluate whether the endurance profile matches their workload.
