The Solidigm D7-PS1010 is a 15.36TB enterprise SSD built for data-centre workloads. It uses a U.2 15mm form factor and a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface. The drive targets servers that need high-density storage with consistent read and write performance.

Build integration and system impact

The U.2 15mm form factor requires a compatible backplane or drive bay with the matching connector and vertical clearance. A PCIe 5.0 capable CPU or switch is needed to reach the rated sequential speeds. The single-drive design frees multiple bays compared to lower-capacity alternatives.
