This 7.68TB Solidigm D7-PS1010 drive fits the E3.S 7.5mm form factor and connects through a PCIe 5.0 x4 link. It targets data-centre operators who need high-capacity flash in a compact, hot-pluggable tray. The 176L TLC 3D NAND delivers 1 DWPD endurance rated at 14 PBW.

PCIe 5.0 x4 ceiling and thermal envelope

The drive reaches 14500 MBps sequential read and 10000 MBps sequential write within the four-lane PCIe 5.0 interface. Random performance peaks at 3000000 read IOPS and 400000 write IOPS. Active power draws 23W and the operating range stops at 77°C, so chassis airflow must dissipate that heat without exceeding the limit.

E3.S slot, power budget and cooling clearance
